The best loop so far: Exit Ghost looks like an early Carl Barks comic and an exercise in shape-shifting. Before we grasp how quickly his face changes moods, we’re back to ground zero. When Elias vanishes, he leaves behind an empty folder. Maybe it stands for letters never sent, never reaching their reader. Maybe it’s a register that will remain inaccessible. Before thoughts get serious, he’s gone, and we fear no one wants to look for (or after, or at) him. This roller coaster of feelings would discourage Kuleshov from trying.
